My avatar disappeared?!?!?!

soliver - 26-4-2013 at 06:24 PM

I just noticed something weird in my siggy, so I went to edit my profile. When I came out of the profile page my Avatar was gone...

So I went back to the profile page and couldn't see the spot for the Avatar.

What's up with that?

Don't feel bad, mines gone too. Tried to fix it but for some reason it's not saving when I input the URL. Odd...

Well poop,... I s'pose it's about time to change it anyway

Mine was lost as well and I had been trying to figure it out which I finnally did.

Heres what I did.

1)...user control panel
2)...Edit Profile
3)...Open photobucket and select the picture I want from my library and resize the picture to 100 X 125 (not 125 X 100)
and save.
4)...Copy the direct link under image links.
5)...Paste the direct link into the "Avatar URL:" area
6)...click in the bio field right below it and it should say right next to the "Avatar URL:"area in green if the avatar is good and the correct size or red if the image is too large or incorrect.

I hope this helps

The avatars went vapor because of the recent update to the forum software. they will come back once Bob reinstalls the appropriate mods. I got impatient and went to the control panel and just redid mine.

Thanks for all you do for us here at PKF.
