Also looking for a basic buggy!

Turtlejon - 13-5-2013 at 04:53 PM

I'm in the Dallas area, I'll be in Des Moines for June, and NY for July, but I don't mind paying to ship, of course!
Looking for a beginner buggy, I'll get a fancy one down the road, when I have more experience with them. I'll be mostly on grass, or hard dirt in the desert.
Thanks, y'all!

The Flexi Navarro is still available.
I don't know where the "basic" line is drawn, but this bug is light, strong and a quality ride.
$500 plus shipping.

So, that would include:
Buggy Seat
Frame Rails
Rail pads and covers
15mm rear axle w/bolts
2 20mm Rear wheels complete, with 15mm bearing adapters, 20mm bearings and spacers.
Wrenches and instruction pack.

Add on $89.00 and I will include one of our exclusive two piece backrest kits - or $59.00 and get just the lower backrest kit. :)

Let me know. If anyone else is interested in this buggy as complete, I am willing to let it ride for $399.00 plus shipping.

Soliver, If you don't take the tires then I can go 195.00 for the kit and I will include shipping. The shipping charges start to get a bit expensive when you have to ship multiple boxes - buggy frame + tires. I will still include the 15-20mm adapters for you if you still need them. It depends on what wheels you will be using. If they are the older style the adapters will not be needed, if it is the newer 20mm size, then you will need them.

You may be able to score a couple tires & wheels for a deal from some of the members.

Sam

Does the AWOC backrest fit on the VTT PL XR+ rail upgrade?

That Navarro is one sweet ride!

Looking at the pics that Mike posted here and the pics posts earlier of the AWOC backrest here... I would say yes.

It looks like Van altered the depth of the rails and the width at the front of the side rail, but the width remains the same behind the rider.

You can adjust where the backrest is clamped and fine tune the angle of the actual backrest pad for comfort.

You can confirm with Van that I am eyeballing it right in the pics, but it definitely looks that way.

Sam

Check with Van he is also in TX. I know he had a peter lynn xr+ with his upgrade kit on it. It was still basically brand new and a good deal since he was charging about the price of a new PL but you got his $300 upgrade kit for free.

Thanks for the leads! I guess I'll have to wait till I can afford 500$ or so...
I have seen a few going for 250 or so, I was kinda hoping to hop on a deal like that...

Sam is correct .. it's the same behind the rider so should fit.
