pic request for some mod/homebrew ideas

3shot - 18-5-2013 at 07:04 AM

As I can't leave well enough alone, I would be so gracious if some of you would share some pics of your buggy mods and homebrew/frankenstyle builds. I have been having a ball in my plain ole' PL, but would love to see some ideas on making it a little more comfy, fun, and crazy. I've seen bits and pieces in a post here or there and tiny avatar pics, but was kinda requesting a collective thread here if I may. I do have the AWOC backrest, but thats about it. I really like what Van has to offer with the XR upgrade kit, just want to see what you crafty fellows have come up with for that "perfect ride".

selfish plug but I have to....

My hand painted NAPKA race plate...Custom cut with compound curves...

Also a custom seat from Van (VTT)...Awesome fit and extremely high quality..You would not be disappointed by one of his upgrade kits. This changed the whole ride this year at WBB

Enough parts to make any buggy I need for conditions...barrows, bigfoots, short/wide axle ...PL kinked downtube wide fork etc...

emidub, how well does that tread grip sand. I was looking at those tires a while back.

Nice ride BTW:thumbup: ;)

I bet those work great. Pump them up good and they would run on the center rib with the grooves beside the rib for extra edging. All the rubber would add lots of rotating weight but thats' not a huge problem for cruising.

Thanks Weldngod  Like BeamerBob said the tyres grip fine on the sand.
