it been over a year i think since i posted ..... just wanted to say hello to all my old kite forum buds, i've adopted a new hobby.... mountain biking
, i bought a raleigh 29er and been practically living on it the past 4 months.
its been about 4 or 5 months since ive been on my kite.... work , life and staying busy has seen to it. ive been persuing my dream of becoming a
firefighter, working as an emt the past year, and just recently got on with an awesome volunteer fire department here in west Houston, man we got some
sweet rigs and equipment, finally got certified and just trying to gain as much experience as possible so I can eventually become a paid FF.
see yall out on the water!

Glad to see you check-in and don't be a stranger.
I hear ya about mountain biking. My kites also have to share time with my bikes, I've been MTB'ing a lot longer than power kiting so that's just the
way it is I guess.

Glad you checked in.
What a great opportunity ! I have nothing but respect for people who chose to serve the community.
Sorry kiting has become a victim but saving the community is far more important !

Snow Kiting is my new love after making a living with mountain bikes. Politics, changes in the industry, injury etc. have made me fall a bit out of
love with mountain biking a bit.
I don't watch bike movies. I don't watch kite movies. I'd rather do something than watch someone else do it.
That said I did watch Life Cycles and I found it mind blowingly beautiful and pretty inspirational. When you see a ride do something and you remember
how it feels it gets me a pumped up. I don't like a lot of movies because they just annoy me. This is more like a movie for "grown ups" I'd like to
see somone produce a kite movie like this, I would be psyched to watch that.
You don't have to ride or even like bikes to enjoy this movie. It's just a beautiful bit of art. If you are into mountain bikes, you'll find it
inspirational.
