Here's an open ended "just out of curiosity" type question: how does the height of the inline skate effect performance? Anybody have experience with
varying degrees of tall skates?
The only assumption I have so far is it would increase the amount of angle a skater can pivot laterally - which I'm sure would benefit kiteblading.
Footnote: this question is not about the effect the diameter of the wheels have on terrain. I'm only curious about the effects that the height of the
skate and vertical position of the skater have on performance.

The Coyotes have 6' wheels and about another inch of clearance. Unfortunately I haven't tried Doom wheels . Your boot is lower on them.
I suspect that Tall is less good / stable for high speeds but better for carving. Low is more stable for speed but to accomplish this you need a long
blade .
In general I think . Larger wheels and lower boot is best for speed.

the taller the skate, the greater the leverage.
more leverage + more power and higher speed attainable if balanced for greater glides.
6" platform is tall and clumsy, with long legs and power can be double pushed starting around 25mph or so.
110mm i believe are vogue for speed now. custom super light for f quick light action on balance.
on a kite more about balance , less about stroking, still tall and narrow grip to contend with.
