I say records as a Husband and Wife have both broken the male and female 24hr distance records.....now these will surely and seriously take some beating

I said last year 500 should be easy now my hopes of breaking a record are gone I was shooting for 500 miles I have nowhere to ride so planned on ivanpah but alas the winds were terrible while I was there. So good going. That is an amazing distance.

Impressive!!!

PTW, how we're they able to go so far without being interrupted by things like buildings and trees and whatnot? how did they plan their route (I guess) is what I mean?

Unless I misinterpreted this, I'm pretty sure the just cruised up and down a beach. The map was posted just to show the the relative distance they rode, not that it was their actual course/route.

That is correct

You could do this by averaging 30 mph for 18 hours. I've been like 94 miles in a portion of a day and I felt like I had been beaten with the control bar all over my body. Granted, much of the day was spent over 50 mph very highly powered which takes its toll on you. If you were flying a nice controllable predictable kite like the Toxics, so you weren't in fear of death or serious injury every second, then the stress and strain level would be much reduced. I look forward to a full account of the trials and tribulations of the distance run. I'd make a go of it if I could get life and 24 hours of wind to coincide. Anything approaching this distance in 24 hours will take preparation and support as well as a few days to heal up.

Oh,... Duh,... Somehow I missed that... Guess I just looked at the map and made an assumption.

Very impressive. I googled the beach thinking it would be this wide open beach that was remote so you didn't have to deal with obstacles (people). Wrong. Every picture I found had people and beach umbrellas in it. That makes it impressive x 2.

Way to represent the Toxic!
