Put a lid on it

Always wore a helmet in the bug w/ all that metal around and having rolled it plenty of times already fig i should..but never saw the need w/ the ATB on the beach because it's sand(no respect)I had it all wrong. Been hitting the 20mph area(I think) lately and figured to be doing both yesterday so had it on riding my board...I was in an inch of water which I found to be a lot of fun really on the cruze when the board pearled and a split second latter I was on my head. Never hit anything or got hit by anyone quite like that..close as I ever came to being unconscious..but the helmet was on....I sat there wondering if this was a concussion but being as I was able to deal w/ the kite properly i figured I was ok...i composed myself and the equipment and went back out for some more than hit the bug and i'm going back out today...I will never board/bug w/out a proper helmet...regardless of making this statement at home I was told I was a jerk for just being a kiter by my lovely..she still doesn't quite get me..put a lid on always at minimum do this...I know I could have been in real bad shape from that session..which now stands as epic.
