Who misses the snow??

Had a nice long weekend and a bit of decent wind too. Even though I packed everything up and looked for places to kite, I could not find any. Might check the other towns again for something, but it doesn't sound too promising. Combine that with the swaths of insects, and non-stop sweating when its above 70 degrees. I'm really praying for an early winter. Who else misses the snow??? I have a nice big silver arrow just itching to fly. :smug:

I do!!!!!! I've been missing the snow and frozen lakes the day I put my skis in storage. I think I was born for winter activities, can't stand the days in the 80's with humidity so high you sweat just standing still. I can relate to everything your saying....I hope winter is as good as it was last year!

In Idaho where I live, powerkiting would be best in the winter when there is snow. I haven't tried it yet because I recently started doing kiting after last ski season is over :( but this winter gonna be blast with hundreds acres of farmland (I know most of the owners).

Not me :P..but then again, we don't get much snow in L.A.

I do love the long summer nights...leaving work at 5pm...in the water at 6:30pm and surfing until 8:15pm....south swells at a good break with no one out....that's my nirvana!

I don't miss the snow but I do miss the unfettered access to the beach when the cold weather drives the beach goers away.
