It's nice to hear about someone doing something heroic in situation such as this. It is unfortunate someone was drowned in that event, and condolences go out to the family for the loss.

The sad part is, the two men in the picture are smiling. I bet the guy being body dragged was kinda laughing about the situation and how cool it was to be towed in by a kite, but that must have been before they realized one of his friends was gone. That is really heartbreaking.

Goes to show how fast #@%$#! can hit the fan. It's a good thing they were there at the time to respond. Quite commendable of them to jump to action like that too.

Doesn't look like they were smiling.. he's got same look as me when I'm struggling to body drag upwind.
