cheezycheese - 23-7-2013 at 05:52 AM

Fatbastards(myself included) lead the way... which one of you needs a burger @160lbs... lol :D

abkayak - 23-7-2013 at 06:30 AM

flyguy0101 - 23-7-2013 at 06:31 AM

+1 for the fat bastards

zalex820 - 23-7-2013 at 06:49 AM

FB taking a strong lead (FB - FAT BASTARDS)

Drewculous - 23-7-2013 at 06:53 AM

I wouldnt say im fat..... Ive got a few lbs to drop, but at 235 and under 15% bodyfat I think im doin okay :D

Some nurse called me obese in a physical exam... I had to show off some abs and the gunshow  .... She still marked me as obese.... So I complained, got "calipered" and was told I was around 13-14%bf which is pretty damn good (i was about 30% 2 years ago)

But yes, if you are handing out burgers, ill take a couple

carltb - 23-7-2013 at 07:20 AM

I don't want to push a stereotype but this is an AMERICAN forum so I can guess that the numbers are going to be on the big side!!! lol

I weigh in at 185lbs and I consider myself abit over weight

Drewculous - 23-7-2013 at 07:41 AM

Hey hey hey carl.... Mexico is fatter than we are lol

AnnieO - 23-7-2013 at 07:54 AM

okay I voted. Now the light-weights have some rep too.

elfasa - 23-7-2013 at 07:56 AM

I'm just over 200 pounds. Bit of a fat boy at the moment :/ I've just started running again, and watching what I eat a bit try and loose a few..

crazyherb - 23-7-2013 at 08:34 AM

210 going on 180....LOL...

BeamerBob - 23-7-2013 at 08:56 AM

I'm about 230. I'd consider my ideal weight about 220. I'm 6'4" so there's no way I could weigh 160. I've been on the "obese" list on those charts as well.

Bobby, we are almost identical in weight and height. I agree with you, those charts are for the average height person and not the "vertically gifted" people like us. Chart said I was moderately obese last year also:lol: I would be nothing but skin and bones at 160lbs:o

Us heavier kiters just need a little more ripstop is all..:frog:

Streetrider56 - 23-7-2013 at 09:39 AM

@ 165 I'm thinking of a weighted jacket at times. :eureka: Could use about 10 lbs when some gusts hit. More burgers n crispy fries.

Demoknight - 23-7-2013 at 10:02 AM

Four years ago I weighed 145. I decided that was way too skinny for an adult male just under six feet tall, so I did something about it. I gained weight on purpose. I am now a happy 210, but very muscular. Doctor told me I was fat, but same situation, I took off my shirt and showed him that I was certainly not "fat" just dense. :) I can't even float in the ocean with lungs full of air...

Kober - 23-7-2013 at 11:24 AM

That makes me a bit more comfortable about gaining some weight lately ..... few more burgers and I will pass 200 ......
.... I forgot how much fun was doing those random polls ..... I need to start do this again .... I know I have somewhere a list of "subjects" that I start posting last year .....
BTW ..... We need to wake up PKF ..... I think we loosing some members here ..... is so quiet here lately ..... or its just me ???

Snake - 23-7-2013 at 11:46 AM

Guys, I'm a bit of a light weight. I weight 120-130 and am 6 feet tall. I am 'fit' but I don't go to the gym. I have very strong legs and average upper body strength. My body fat is <5%. My food prep. teacher said I need to gain some weight and to eat more.

The thing is I can eat whatever I want and how much I want and I never go over 130. My metabolism is so high that If I skip one meal a day for a week I lose 10 pounds. I'm not sure if it is good or bad.

MeatÐriver - 23-7-2013 at 11:46 AM

@250 with no shame. Though cheeseburgers aren't the issue...it's my gourmet masterpieces on a bun. There's a reason that I'm known by some as simply, "the meat man." And yes, it has been quiet...a little too quiet.

BeamerBob - 23-7-2013 at 02:08 PM

This forum has dwindled considerably in the last year or more. I used to have days I would post more than 10 times. Now I probably don't post 10 times a week. Neither me nor my passion has changed, only the makeup of the forum.

B-Roc - 23-7-2013 at 02:39 PM

Wow, there are a lot of fat bastard kiters :o

I fattened up to 162 last year when doing a lot of travel for work then dropped 30 pounds with serious exercise and diet changes but put 13 pounds of lean muscle back on and have been holding around 145 for the past year.

Might I suggest Sixpackshortcuts, Insanity, P90x or Focus T25 be added to your quivers :P ;)

BeamerBob - 23-7-2013 at 02:45 PM

History shows that I would burn some fat, add some muscle and weigh just about the same. I'd look better and be in better shape though!

3shot - 23-7-2013 at 03:33 PM

6'2" and 210 lbs.
I love me some cheeseburgers too

mougl - 23-7-2013 at 04:27 PM

220 at the moment but dropping. Started diet and gym last week. 185 here I come!!!

Kamikuza - 23-7-2013 at 06:00 PM

Those charts were made in like 1700s by a Dutch life-insurance agent or something dumb like that. They're total crap. I'm 6'1" and have been under 10% body fat but was still "obese" according to the chart. In a class of my own now :(

Am still The Heaviest Kiteboarder in Japan but not The Fattest!

soliver - 23-7-2013 at 07:20 PM

I've been hanging around 190-200 lbs for a few years now. I was at the doc last week (I'm a lab rat for a diabetes drug trial) and I weighed in at 198 lbs... CRIPES!!!!

I'd love to drop 15-20 or more, but I just can't find the time to work out... Much less kite

shehatesmyhobbies - 23-7-2013 at 08:21 PM

I put my vote in, not happy about it, but did it any way! By time I get to the OCT bash I hope to be a little more slim and trim! Been out of shape, (other than round shape) for a little bit, time to get myself back in line!

I can still hang though! :D

I dress out at about 220 in the middle of winter. Summer time weight is usually about 185-190.

This summer I've been slacking up until the last month, eating too much junk actually. I was 210 about a month ago now I'm at 195. I'd like to get down to 180-185 before winter. Like Kami, I'm usually the heaviest rider in the bunch.

Suds after thuds - 24-7-2013 at 10:51 PM

65kg ≈ 145lbs

maybe one day i'll crack the next bracket
pass the burgers my way

@demoknight wtf did you take? I maxed out at 165

shaggs2riches - 24-7-2013 at 11:13 PM

Another for 200lb group. At 5'7" I'm a bit of a porker lol. I started last winter at 185 and even in April was 190. Gotta get my ass up and walking a bit every day so I can drop again. Went and tried kiting last week and had to loosen off the straps on my harness. Would never fit right now in winter clothing.
