Thought it would be better to start a new post, not wanting to over run Scudleys excitement to be at SOBB

Those of you who want to help send Rich to SOBB and dip his big toe in the Pacific Ocean, I have set up an account with PayPal. The account is helpingout@live.com
Send it as a personal gift. I will keep track of all the transactions and will forward the names and info to Rich.
As soon as the dates are decided on for Rich to head West and then return, we will post the updates of his "Most Awesome Adventure" to keep you all informed with getting his big toe wet.

I want to thank all of you for helping out with this. Rich has worked hard for some time now and has given far more than anyone can imagine. I for one am very thankful for the personal love of this sport that Rich has, with only a small amount of complaining, accomplished without any return for his time.
Thanks for all the emails and u2u's in support of this show of appreciation. Because of all of you, this will be a great opportunity for Rich and the "Most Awesome Adventure".

We can set up the return flight through Canada, 7 or 8 stops should work well with Toronto being 2nd to last.

Pass Rich around is so funny! My wife got a good chuckle out of that one. Mark, as a kid I would visit Canada each summer. I loved it then I would love it now. As a family we are going to go, I want to share with my kids the beauty of Canada.

As for this trip I can tell you now that I am humbled with everyone's generosity. I promise to make the best of this trip and will make sure that everyone enjoys hanging with me.

Well, I guess it's official! Flight is booked and I will be there from Aug30th to Sept.6th. I can't wait to get out there and personally thank all those involved in making this happen.

Time to start seeing how many kites I can fit in one bag! It's going to be a great time!

Jeff you and the rest of the guys have done enough already. Just getting out there to ride the west coast beaches with you guys and hanging out is awesome in my book. I rarely drink and will be happy sitting around shooting the s€^¥ with you all. I am overwhelmed with your kindness.

I may need an occasional ride to the grocery though.:D

Yes, I am officially packed, two big PL bags chocked full! Just got to figure out how to get my helmet on the plane LOL I think I am going to put it in a back pack and do a carry on! As long as they don't think I am going to use it to head but the pilots door I should be good!

Can't wait to head out! I will be on the plane at 730 am tomorrow! Completely stoked to be almost on the way!

Well the journey has begun! I am sitting at the airport, yes two hours early, awaiting to board my 730 am flight to Seattle airport. I must say that I am over excited at this point. I will check in again once I land in Seattle, approximately 1021 am West Coast time. Look out SOBB here I come.

A quick trip around Seattle and off to see how the rich and famous live.
Dinner at Ivors and a night in Longbeach. Sunset Beach in the morning to start the fun.

Got to meet a lot of the guys today! Had some wind for a bit and did some riding. Dipped my toe in the Pacific, well actually walked in up to the knees with a couple of the guys. Had dinner at buggy camp, thanks Morrie and Kelci! Sat around and chatted for a bit! Time to hit the shower and rest up for another day on the beach. Really enjoying the trip! Keeping the fingers crossed for great winds the rest of the week.

Today did finally come around. Winds were pretty good from SW. Most everyone had some pretty decent runs. Wile the morning was not very favorable, sitting around and chatting and waiting for the wind paid off rather nicely. Can't wait till tomorrow!

Another great day on the beach. There are a lot of talented riders out here. The winds were from the SSW with a Few hours of more west than south which made for some great speed runs. A few of the guys made some pretty blistering runs up the beach, I got my highest speed runs so far today. I was not able to compete with most of the guys as the Phantoms just can't keep up with the FB kites. Either way the wind was good and the company was better.

Guess when the money starts flowing again I will start a new quiver of kites. ( no I'm not getting rid of the Phanny's)

Have to say thanks again to all those who made my trip out here possible, I hope that you guys are enjoying this as much as me.

So glad you made it Rich.....Can't wait to hear all about it at Wildwood, which I am so looking forward to myself....Don't worry about saving some $ for the FB's....I have a couple you can borrow and I'm sure others will too....especially knowing that we get to race your butt down the beach a bit....
However, if smiles and screaming count.....you can bet I'm going to win....haha....KEEP ENJOYING YOUR TIME THERE :thumbup:
