Hi. I recently started to get more comfortable with my land kiting and have decided to listen to some music similar to when riding a bike. i use
bluetooth headphones and generally listen to chill out trance or techno. The level of control of my kite and the enjoyment of traction kiting has
increased significantly. But obviously, if there are other park users I would not do this in case someone needs to get my attention. However when
there is no one around, I don't see the problem.
Do you kite with music?

always everytime!!!

Every time as carl said! In fact, I have gotten to the point where if I forget to charge my headphones [Motorola S-9] and I can't listen to tunes, I
can't seem to fly!!

Never once. I always listen to the tires on the ground, the sounds of the wind to indicate change in wind speed and I love to hear the sound of the
lines in the wind.

I have never done this either. I have to say I agree with Boobie on this one. Just like hiking in the mountains. There is so much natural music out
there to listen to.

Yeah, I like the sound of my tires on the sand and the wind in my face. May try it someday, though.

always but hate the ear buds or ear muff style headphones. Headrush Bluetooth portable rechargeable speaker mounted on my buggy ,great speaker you can
even recharge your phone or iPod from a usb port on it

I like how D'sliddy goes about it.
I can hear him if he is coming near and since his ears are not covered he can here may yelling that I'm out of control - again !
I don't use them myself .

Almost always. Motorola S9 HD Bluetooth headphones also.

Never have, but willing to try it sometime. I really enjoy the solitude kiting gives me in the winter time, being able to get "lost" in the moment
without the daily hustle bustle of "life". I do like to have music in my vids when I produce them, it gives it some personality and helps create a
mood to the video.
lives2fly - 26-8-2013 at 02:10 AM
For some reason I have never plugged in to my headphones while kiting.
I always have music on Mountain Biking or Snowboarding but not kiting. Mostly i'm on the water these days so its not really practical anyway unless i
buy a waterproof mp3 player

I have done it flying static.its pretty fun to fly a small FB and do turns and swoops to the music. Kinda like dancing with your kite.

Have tried it a few times kiting and snowboarding. It was great when jus cruising in the wide open. But I found it screwed with my perception and
balance. I also found on the trails I didn't like not being able to hear if anyone was around the corner. Just cruising without having to really
concentrate, I found I could kite longer without feeling the burn in my legs getting tired.
tdmc96 - 26-8-2013 at 08:31 PM
I never do....I love being in the moment of cruising in the buggy, listening to the wind...I work in a fairley loud environment so the silence is nice.

I tried it with ear buds once but they wouldn't stay in.
