Hey guys,
I'm new to this and I am a mechanical engineer. my friends and I are making a kite buggy for our senior project and we already have the preliminary
design of the cart drawn out but we need to find what kind of tires to use and where to buy them. We live in the Californian desert so tires that
could be used on tough terrain would be preferable. and tires with rims with bearings already in them would also help us out. Please feel free to give
us any tips and information as you see fit to any beginners in this sport. Thanks again guys

You can run a 100 different kind of wheels but.....PARTS...PARTS...PARTS....If you get a set of wheels that are currently being used on buggies you
can interchange them between buggies.....axle bolts are readily available.....axle bolts fit new/different axles (short & wide)...you can buy
bearings that fit axle bolts, spacers to accommodate bolts etc.....I don't know all the sizes but mine are 12mm flexifoil (almost obsolete) the PL
are 16 or 20....
Then you can find all the things you need very easily and with help from everyone on here (PKF)...Do yourself a favor and start with something
stock..you will thank me later....rather then sitting on the beach cause you can't find a part for your buggy that costs 4 bucks...
