Install FDS on speed 2??

shaggs2riches - 29-8-2013 at 07:29 PM

So because I haven't gone kiting all summer, I forgot that I need to install the FDS I bought from powerzone in the spring. I want to do it before the snow flies, and will tackle it one evening in the next couple weeks. Trouble is, I have no clue how to do it. Doesn't seem to be direction on YouTube (which would be real nice). Can anyone walk me through it, or have some sort of instructions laying it out?? Also will I need to do a tuning afterwards? Winter will come fast for me as Im steady working till mid October.

It's easy as pie if you have a complete kit. You should have a handful of those little loops that attach the FDS bridle to the center (or as close to center as you can) bridle tabs on the kite. Then it's just a matter of running the fifth down through the bar setup and to the leash.

I bet you'd just love every moment of it too. Probably even fly it much better than I ever will. :P

It makes a bit more sense now. I managed to fumble through Flysurfer's site and found a pdf file that has instructions on installing it. I guess a picture is worth a thousand words after all. If we get as much snow as last year, I'm gonna get tons of time in. Trouble will be fitting in my harness again.
