Gee Brian, you must REALLY like this video...:bisou:

No... not that much, Cheeze. I Like the show and since it's grown widely popular- plus since you don't see power kiting on TV-I thought PKF folks would get a laugh....

Maybe...maybe not.

I do like seeing what stuff is worth or what people will buy/sell items for.

Chumlee did all the things newbies do on first flight. I think the whole thing was a setup. Big field and they set up right beside that pole. It was halfway down the lines when he launched.

The ENTIRE SHOW is a setup. There's zero "real" in reality TV.

lol hahahha

Both Bob and erratic winds are correct.

But most should know that it's not real... but not all will.
" there's a sucker born every minute...."

It doesn't have to be real or all real.....As long as your entertained is the 'law' of TV station owners.

The biggest sin on Reality TV(and all programming) is to be boring( not get enough viewers)... not fake. Stations have no contract with viewers that their 'reality' shows have to be real. Even the TV News has no contract to report the truth. If you believe everything on the news....

How boring it would have been (to general viewers) if they didn't set Chumlee up to wrap around the pole. You don't think that happened on one 'take'. It took many...

...Or...in fact, likely.... Chumlee wasn't even flying it,(camera is on kite only at 'pole-ing') but likely the real kiter (seller or other) flew it into the pole at the very top. Who else could control and put it there and save film time. Film time is $!

Cut! Put it in the can! That's a wrap.

All reality TV is ridiculous I have tried to watch a few shows and just can't stand it. I can't imagine paying for this stuff. But it's obvious millions of people do. Or it wouldn't still be on. I know my dad likes a few of them.

I was in the Pawn industry for 10 years and I can tell you that there is very little that is accurate in the reality tv depiction of what a pawn shop or a pawnbroker actually is.

Nevertheless, this clip was hilarious...
