I also have a 14m and for those who don't know, this is a super powerful, low wind kite and Gin quality is top notch.

At 145#s I'm jumping nicely by 7mph and moving to overpowered (for me) by 11 or 12. I've flown it in measured 14mph winds but they were super smooth and off the ocean. Jumping was effortless in those conditions but landing and securing a big kite like that was a bit tricky for sure.

Its an older design now so it would be considered slow compared to a modern day Speed and it also does not have the same depower range as some of the more modern kites but it does have a decent amount of depower both on the strap and in the bar. I don't recall what the sail is made of but my 14m I series has a lighter material than my 10m III series so its light yet durable stuff which basically means if you can get it launched, it will make power no matter how low the wind.

I was going to retrofit a 5th line safety on mine this summer but spent too much time boogie-boarding and never got around to it. For those interested, I do have plans on how to do that and I can email them if necessary. The kite uses a rear line safety with a built in leash attached to a landing strap unless it has been modified. Sort of like a top hat but not quite.

What's a Gin Eskimo and where are the pics and Mfr. information :puzzled::rolleyes:

Yes,

This kite comes with bar and lines but a simple Gin stuff sack. No leash required. All in very good shape.

Gin is a kite company that has been in the business since the beginning. There build quality is right up there with Ozone. They recently went through a business change. Fortunately there are a number of Eskimo fans on this forum and I had all the support I needed right here.

I am pretty sure I'll have sellers regret with this one but have to fund my recent ( Flysurfer ) Speed addiction.

Bladerunner said no rips, tears, stains or repairs.

If it has rips, tears, stains or repairs- I will buy it off you. Simple.
That is how brutally honest Bladerunner is.

I did like my Eskimos a lot , it was good kite to learn on and 14m let me do few epic light wind sessions on snow and with my buggy ...
