Anybody else use KiteLife by KGB Swag

Just thought I'd reach out there and see if anybody else has used this product. Just wanted to compare my results with yours.

I purchased the entire kit. Kite wash, protectant and line restore. Thought the wash was nice, brought the colors of my Access back to life and made it look new. After a thorough dry I applied the protectant via spray bottle and synthetic cloth. I hung my kite to dry for a few hours until it was dry to the touch. Here is where I had slightly diff expectations on the end result. Kite didn't feel any more water resistant or crispy than when I started. Kite is in great condition but not very crispy anymore and thought perhaps this product would make it crisp again, this is where I was a little let down. Fabric is still very soft after application and dry time. The kit talks about protection from the sun and bringing your kite back to new condition, but not exactly what I had in mind. Haven't tried the line life stuff yet so I haven't an opinion on this. Maybe I just need more dry time on the kite, thought three hours on the clothes line was plenty enough, dunno.

Anybody else use this stuff and can give your opinion that would be great.

Just used only the protectant on my 2+ year old PL Twister 5.6. The kite looks a little bit "brighter" but would have to agree with Chedd, didn't really add any crispy crinkle to the kite. I'm going to use on my 19m Venom II in a couple of weeks to see if there is any effect on that one.

Chedd, what kite did you experiment on?

Cheddar. I know it's prolly not what you want to hear, but I used the Kite Refit kit that BigKid sells/sold. Used the shampoo and Refit on my 1.8 Rage. Like yours, my Rage 1.8 is in really good shape, just not as crispy as my 3.5 Rage. Anyhoo, the shampoo really did brighten up the colors, and the Refit spray DID add little crisp back to it. It sets up taller awaiting the launches now. I was pleased with the results of that brand.

The kitelife brand does show to shed the water very very well. It should make the dry time after flights very short too I would think.

I used it on my Ozone Access XT. One bottle was def enough product to do an 8 meter depower, both sides.
