I've got to ask. What are your thoughts on the Oracle boat?

those multi million dollar boats are machines to admire and lust after. The speeds they hit are incredible. I watched a race a week or two ago in SF Bay and they were running over 40 knots at times. Incredible.

ha i think there cool as hell. I live in SF and work on the Bay where the races take place so I see them things hulling ass every day its a really cool scene.

It's kinda like building the space shuttle. Sure, it's way past sexy but, it's not racing.

Unless they manage to squeeze a cure for cancer out of it, America's Cup is little more than a ridiculously expensive R&D project.

It's gone the way of motorsports these days, it's a test of wallets.
