If I am not mistaken, he jumped again not too long ago and cleared the flag pole and did a double loop on the other side and went another 300 yards or something like that, It is totally insane!

then there is always that classic footage of Dimitri showing when things go wrong
(I like the original with the "I fought the law" soundtrack, here's a different one)

oww! i hadn't seen that before! You would think he would have put a helmet on for that stunt.

The Brighton Pier jump is legendary. Lewis Crathern is the kiteboarder that non kiters have heard of in the UK.

Thanks Mark, Nothing like reliving his ordeal through mine. Should have turned it off before I turned it on.
Josh, what do you think?

The part about him not moving or not being able to move is one of those few seconds that can last an eternity or slowly fade away. Been there, done that, didnt like it one bit. Glad he didnt end up fish food.

OMG... What kind of kite was he flying? It had to have enormous life and de-power to be able to lift him, the board and his humoungus bollocks?????

I know of a novice power kiter (name withheld) with a 17m and no harness that just might try something like that.
Might happen when he least expects it also. 175#'s. 5'7". Think it's a good idea?

Is this more kite (17m) than he needs to do such a trick?:borg::borg::o:o:barf::barf:
