After months of dead winds right now the speed is great for my PT 15m. But the temperatures dropped a lot and because this sport depends on the wind
there's also chill factor involved.
From my experience with trainer kite almost every time i got minor signs of flue the next day in such conditions!
What to wear in autumn or even winter for static and scatekiting?

I wear snowboard pants and jacket for landboarding. Its hard to keep your hands warm I find. Warm gloves make you hands less dextrous

think simple
NO COTTON unless you are intentionally trying to cool yourself
layers for adjusting.
skin layer
insulation layer (based on degree of work to sweat ratio)
shell layer.
Generic is this may be and certainly VERY "tweekable" meaning you can change any part of this...
this layering idea is just a guideline in the light of YOU kiting in the winter and getting really hot and sweaty from hard kiting, then....when you
stop kiting for a break....by choice or not, you can stay warm even if you are wet from sweat or wet from the elements.
a couple nice pieces to ALWAYS HAVE for SNOWKITING!
Balaclava ( head/face layer)
Extra Gloves or heavy mittens
Heavy but lightweight Insulation jacket for the really cold moments
plus think not using a hard shell.... like Goretex but rather a soft shell like Schoeler

Layer .
I wear a long sleeve undershirt, A fleece top, a breathable sort of neoprene jacket and a Water / windproof shell. I wear sweat pants under ski pants
+ long johns on cold days. I also wear 2 pair of socks. A light set under heavy. I can usually get way with the hoods on the jacket + shell but take a
toque along. I try to get away with my kitesurf gloves as long as I can but on cold days need 5 fingered ski gloves.
Moisture is your #1 enemy. Try not to get soaked with sweat.

I bought a super thin Merino wool long sleeve that I wear under my winter gear in the snow and under my wetsuit in the summer. Well worth the
investment on the base layer. I can virtually throw anything over it and I'm good to go.
