Ok, I had this weird dream last night... :alien:
So I'm flying my matrix on the beach about to go riding on the water and a gust suddenly launches me into the air. I try to sheet out and stop the
lift on the sail but I can't stop the up ward motion. I let go of the bar and suddenly it's out of reach like ten feet above me and I'm plummeting! :o
Next I see the water coming at me fast so I climb the depower rope and grab the bar and sheet in... But it's too late! I smash into the water and wake
up.
So here's the question: any of you have kiting dreams? How often? Are they usually as scary as mine?
Just a funny experience I didn't think I could share with any one else.

Ah, the Top Hat dream.Demoknight - 15-10-2013 at 07:32 AM
I had a dream that I got yanked 100 yards sideways into the ocean in the Bahamas. Once I landed in the water I lost control of the kite and it went
into a death spin and I went at basically mach speed under water and got deeper and deeper till I was 30' down or so, but it was crystal blue water
and I could see forever in every direction. It was a terrifyingly beautiful dream.pyro22487 - 15-10-2013 at 07:59 AM

never dreamed about kiting...
but my encounters with the dimensionless infinite... quite beautiful indeed. sand flea - 15-10-2013 at 06:58 PM
great post
yeah, a few times
never a bad experience,
usually getting a kite or buggy set up, even just hangin' out with
my kite Bros.

Had a few dreams where I was kiting in them, but they were jut blips in a bigger dream about something else. I did dream of a Riddick type scene,
where when being chased down, the person used a kite and special desert board to escape. Wish I remembered half the stuff I dream, but even if I tell
myself to remember my dream from in the dream, I forget all the details once awake. area429 - 15-10-2013 at 10:52 PM
Thanks for your replies. I'm glad I'm not the only one.
I have had few great dreams of kiting. mostly boring but this one stuck with me.
This dream was so eerie because I remember the silence of being in the air and the horror of not coming down... The peaceful realization that it
might end this way, which its a weird thing too dream about so clearly.
Well, wishing you all happy kiting dreams!
And to all a good night.
Ps, I might have to write a version of twas the night before christmas with a more kiting flair haha:
Twas the night before christmas and all through the house, not a foil was stirring, not even an LEI....

next time don't sheet out.... definately don't let go of the bar... ...unless you a are doing a grab or a board off :D
at least you landed in the water!
I don't often remember dreams or I don't dream much. can't decide if i'm missing out or not.
