Was out today on my Core GT 7m and decided it wasn't the kite for me and that I'm going to sell it.
Then I fell over, put the board through a steering leader and looped the kite into the water - split the canopy.
Free kite, anyone? Just cost you shipping... but you gotta repair it yourself Cheddarhead - 11-11-2013 at 04:50 AM

Before y'all get to excited . . . when I say split canopy, I mean LE to TE.
Right on the LE, the split has gone to the edge of the canopy material, and at the TE it's completely cut - the anti-flapping line has been pulled out
of one side too.
Real shame, the kite was in good condition and was really good on the surfboard. Would have been great for a little skinny guy :D ooh, or a land
board...mdpminc - 13-11-2013 at 06:12 AM
Can you post a pic of the LE area ?mdpminc - 13-11-2013 at 06:52 AM

This is a repair I could deal with.
I had a Raven with severe damage I got for free from a friend. It was about a time when Kitefix came out on the market.
Kitefix worked like a dream, ugly repair, but held solid for two summers, then I gave it to a guy to learn on, he used it for another two seasons
until bladders gave up. Naish Raven - Kitefix Kamikuza - 16-11-2013 at 05:13 AM
Yeah, Mr Miyachi at the club reckons he can repair it with some kite fix... but I've already bought a 2011 Crossbow to replace it :D I have a nice set
of 2011 Crossbows so my OCD is geeing out to the max
