The Kite Free Or Die snowkite festival will be taking place this year in March during the first weekend of the 1st & 2nd ( Sat and Sun.)

A very exciting new venue will be taking place this year unlike anything any Snowkite festival has ever seen before!

Looks like a great event on the horizon. A bunch of new venues will be at the event this year. Wind or not, this is going to be FUN!

Maybe a couple dozen+..... including Chris and Kevin from HQ. I heard a couple kites were 'tree'd'. Not sure how rescue went.

I would go back....especially to ride a different area(behind hotel) next year.

Thank you to all who came especially the bunch that drive from a far
HQ kites
The NJ crew
Mass kiters
And the purple dinasour that seemed to run randomly across the fields occasionally
By the way Sunday's winds came up strong !!! No joke. Of course only a few for lessons and a group of core kiters with nothing to do on Monday stayed, it was good

My first time at the event. Zebulon was a great host. We had wind on Saturday. What a great place to expose more people to snowkiting. I'd come back.
