So the dark days of winter are here. What are people using this year for night kite lights?
I heard of some little bicycle lights somewhere but can't find the thread. Small and with commodity batteries (AA/AAA) would be best I think.
Any ideas on attaching to NPWs as they have no cells to throw lights into.

I might make the local paper with my idea. Been wanting to do the UFO thing for a while.
LEI, car battery, inverter, 80ft of wire and a couple of 100w halogen spot lights.

Books Lights, Glow Stick and even Lasers if you set them up right will all work well.
Pretty extensive discussion, same topic here

Yeah, saw that thread, but lights are getting better every month - was wondering if anyone has seen something new and cool in the world of LED
lighting.
Especially anyone who has lit their NPW as they are a bit of a trickier case... no dirt outs

That thread is pretty current.

Oops, only looked at the first post date (2011), assumed short lifespan, and didn't want to necro an old thread.
How does one delete a thread here, I will post on that one instead.

Probably not necessary to delete, just chime in over there
