Flysurfer Speed3 15m DLX limited edition green

bigsteve - 4-12-2013 at 01:38 PM

This kite is practically brand new. I only use it in the summer, and only on light days. Lately, it hasn't seen much use at all because I have found that I do not like switching between foils and LEI's. This kite hasn't been out of the bag since May, so it's time for it to go.

It probably has less than 50hrs on it (20 sessions) Pulleys and lines are like new still. I always babied it.

It is the limited edition green color scheme that came out first, before the other colors. It looks like this.

ya, It tears me up that I'm going to sell it, but its practically brand new and it doesn't suit my style right now. I LOVE the hang time on this beast, but on a surfboards I like the LEI depower and deep window characteristics... To hang on to this and just keep it in the basement for those special days seems like a waste

Waste? What ever do you mean.. is it more for park and drive that you mention the deep window for LEI's?

Lot's to learn here, and I am interested in a flysurfer. They are just VERY expensive. I have been reading a LOT of great responses about these kites. Now that I have destroyed about as much as I can..I am not afraid to venture into something worth keeping for the long haul.

For surfboard I like a fast pivot turning easily 'shut-off' style kite. The 15m S3 doesnt operate like that. Its still a great kite, but more if you want steady consistent pull, big air, lots of hang time, good depower, and very smooth reaction to impact.

There is nothing Jerky or sudden about these kites, they are the smoothest kite I have ever flown.
