Not what I was expecting at all. In my mind when I think rotary engine, I go straight to Wankels design which I have a fair amount of experience with.
Never seen anything like this before. Though this design didn't last to terribly long... for obvious reasons, I find it very interesting. Thank you
for this.
Edit: Now I'd really love to see it's motorcycle counterpart that he spoke of!bigkid - 22-1-2014 at 10:24 AM
Brings up a lot of questions about the ride, fuel economy, and a few other things. So many thoughts about how it would work in todays tinkering
society. flyhighWNY - 22-1-2014 at 10:41 AM
My brother (wrench/gear head) always loved the modern Rotary engines found in Indy F1 cars.... Not sure how similar but he said some crazy power/
Torque for displacement... I'll check it out!flyhighWNY - 22-1-2014 at 10:45 AM

They are pretty incredible...only 3 moving parts, uses porting similar to a 2stroke, with mods can spin to nearly 20k rpm, completes its full cycle in
270° of crank rotation as opposed to 720° on a "normal" engine, with proper skill and a Dremel tool you can multiply its power output(at the cost of
dividing the drivability:D)... pardon me, getting excited here....back to the original topic.cheezycheese - 22-1-2014 at 12:02 PM
All I can say is Mazda RX-7 !!MeatÐriver - 22-1-2014 at 12:42 PM
