I see Vancouver BC has snow. How is the snowkiting this year?

Green Lake froze late and then was slick ice the last couple of weeks. I was there last Friday. A few inches of wet snow on top of the ice then.
Should be even better now. Warmer down at the village so it may not last ?
Here by the ocean it has snowed steady for 2 days but almost no build up due to the warm temps.
