Any one know of any places around Nags head north carolina to buggy?

I had a great session at the Bodie Island Light House beach access. I rode south towards Oregon Inlet. I was there in the fall and had the beach to myself. I'm not sure about the legality of it, but I didn't bother anything or anyone while there. There were signs about no vehicles going north, but I'm not sure if we qualify as a "vehicle" by their laws. Access laws have changed since I was there, but I'm not sure if it applies to that beach or to us as buggiers. Some beaches can't even be walked on anymore.

There are no laws in the towns of KDH or Nags Head that prevents kite buggying on its beaches. Winds from the east make for decent runs. However, extreme caution should be used during 'tourist' season, as the beaches will be too crowded to safely ride. Best to buggy in the months of October through March.

Unfortunately, it is illegal to buggy on National Park Service lands (including Pea Island) and anywhere along the Cape Hatteras National Seashore, including either side of the Oregon Inlet.
