Mystic KRS Safety Spreader Bar

podsds - 9-3-2014 at 08:36 AM

I have been reading about the Mystic KRS Safety Spreader Bar. Yep, I'm a noobie, I have very little time in the seat and I have not hooked in yet. This hook looks like it might be a very safe way to go. I fly with handles and would be using a strop and am hoping to find the Mystic KRS Safety Spreader Bar to try it out, but I can't seam to find it anywhere.

I'm open to hear about this or other QR setups that might work well for me.

I'll be a WBB this spring; if your going too and want to share your experiences or opinions please look me me up.

I probably will have one at WBB .... I will use it to make auto release when riding with strap .... Same here .... Its hard to find one ... My friend is requesting it from US distributor ... I let you know if I was able to get it .... and you can try it at WBB if in my possession ...

This wasn't on my radar .

Very smart !

Here is a good video of it and how it works . http://vimeo.com/72351507

I have an old Pro Limit spreader that lets the hammer head pivots up . It was far from perfect. Doesn't work with chicken finger in. Prone to false deployment or release. This system takes care of all of that !:thumbup:

I think I am interested in price and availability as well . Perhaps Angus can check ? I think he sells Mystic?

Note: You have to be a special flavor of geeky for this to be the first thing to jump out at you from the video, but....

ELMAX ?!?!?

Oh my, the sh|t just got real.

Kind of surprised that Mystic doesn't spotlight this more. Elmax is a high end blade steel.

I am hoping someone will help me with a quick lesson on this system or some AQR at IBB.

Interesting for sure. Although something like the auto quick release that BigKid built seems better suited for the buggy. Either way, very cool system.
