A Galveston Expedition

These are 13 minutes of a 30-mile one-way beach run I did last year. I traveled down all of Galveston's southern strip of sand as well as all of Stonehenge where I finally stopped at Surfside beach.

The possibilities are almost limitless when you have someone else who can drive you home as opposed to worrying about kiting back to base yourself.

Here is the complete route I took by beach. The video only covers about the first quarter of the trip. I took a short car ride to cross the toll bridge.

About how fast do you think you were able to go at times?

I've gone up to 26 MPH once while landboarding down this beach. Winds were about 15-17 MPH at that time. In this video, I've reached about 19 MPH max and winds were about 10-15 MPH.
