Started with Niki-san unable to stop his completely-depowered 8m from dragging him down the beach towards the trees, where I was setting up. "Help-u
me" he said as he scudded towards me :karate:
I grabbed the back of his harness and walked/levitated him back up the beach so we had space to get his kite down...
Went out on my 7m Crossbow and was a bit underwhelmed at first... then the wind filled out a bit and it was all smiles and big jumps.
Then the wind picked up some more and it all got a bit... more. Got harder to nail the landings cos I was floating so far downwind with the kite...
and was too sissy to loop it on the landings.
And you know the wind is crack-a-lacking when, lying in the water waiting to start, you just sheet in and rise straight up out of the water like
Godzilla, coming to stand on your board then ever so slightly move your kite to one side to set off :o
What fun!

Sounded like a fun overpowered day to me
I don't particularily enjoy
days like that due to comfort levels being low. I need more experience:P It's almost like sitting in a chair balancing on two legs, exciting, but
one wrong move can spell trouble. Glad it was a good day!

Feel a lot happier in the water on days like that, than on the land... launching and landing is always iffy

I should have known my 7.5m was too much when I had to crawl to get into the water on Saturday.... There was no way I was putting it overhead until I
was in the water and it had enough power at the edge of the window that I couldn't stand up....
Tacked out, tacked in, pulled safety, went home......
Sunday was fun though
