As of this morning, only 20 rooms or so booked. Where is everyone??

I can't wait....Started a new job recently, so the old days of just taking off 5 days in a row to play without any issues is not happening but...I will be there on Thursday night and ready to roll on Friday & Sat.....

I don't want to make more work for you Rich but my NAPKA is running out I believe...Should I do it on-line or can I throw you the cash/check just to update as I should already be in the system (paperwork wise)

Better to do it online. You will still have to do the waiver any how. If you don't have the time, we can make it happen on location.

:(:( Totally bummed but i will have to miss this bash BUT will be ready to ride and see everyone in October. My back is healing well and no real issues- it is just going slower than i was hoping and part of the fracture in the posterior processes has yet to fuse together- its definitly a smaller fracture but still no contact and that was the agreement i made with my wife complete fusing and off to wildwood- not complete and i gotta stay home. Hope you all have onshore winds and tight lines.

UGH! Owen and I have to miss for the first time in five years. I am so sad. :( On a brighter note, the missus and my youngest are on board for the fall trip, so I have that to look forward to.

All that do not make it for what ever reason will be missed for sure. Brotherhood on the beach just can't be beat! Wishing all of you a safe week and we will be thinking of all that can not make it.

Truck is shined up, trailer is ready, gotta pack some clothes then take the ride over tomorrow evening.

Wednesday is Wind-day...Gonna start like a lion, Rich.

Looks like Very little chance of rain most days....lots of wind over the days...but wish forecast showed different wind directions. Hope it may change some.

Just talked to Rian, he said it is all but on shore right now about 13-15 mph winds. I will not be there till tonight, but tomorrow looks to be 20+! 9m Phantom all day! Should be killer

Remember to pack your small kites. Current gusts are +30.
The first three buggies out had OBEs - all fun, but hard to hold on to handles. Hey - anyone have a gust-munching 5m de-power?
Winds tomorrow should be a little easier to hold on in :wee:

Howard, what direction did you guys have today...? I have a 3m depower that would have been perfect !!

Wind has been out of the NW - heading almost straight out to sea.
A 3m de-power foil sounds great - a 5 would probably do too. Rich is thinking he might bring out his 6m Phanny (edit: 9m Phanny - he sold the 6). My 1.8m Core was super twitchy and was more than I could hold.

I hope Nick is feeling better.

Wind's were in the mid 20's again today with very high gust yet again. Only a few kiters got out mid morning. The best runs for most of us were after dinner when the gust left and the winds smoothed out a bit. I flew the 9m Phanny again this morning. It was even having a hard time with the gusty, punchy winds.

After dinner, a handful of us went back out. I put up the 12m and rode for a bit. It ended up not being enough kite, but had a good time any way.

Tomorrow, onshore winds, 14-15mph! Should be all but perfect!

You know what they say Cheezy, today was the best day yet, till tomorrow! On shore blowing 15mph at least if not a little more. End to end runs for a bit. The beach is really jacked up from the high winds and storms, but getting better as we pack it down.
