Hello all,
I'm new to the forum, and I'm looking into getting into power kiting. I was recommended the Prism Tensor, because it has the changeable controls(
control bar to quad). I'm wondering which size I should get, the 3.1 or the 4.2. I am 15 and 160 lbs. I live in Michigan, where the wind is around
2-10 mph usually.
thanks

By the way I plan on eventually doing some land boarding and maybe some bugging. Would this be a good kite for that? Will it have enough power?

There are a lot of factors going into choosing a kite. Typically you are best served with a 2 or 3m kite to start with. Thus I would recommend
the 3.1
You can make the arugment for the lighter winds and the higher size...I still think the 3.1. neither will fly at 2 mph without heroic efforts to
keep it in the sky. Both will fly around 5 without a problem

I am sure you will find the 3.1 quite entertaining. Even the smaller 2.5 quad kites can be quite a handful in a good wind. I would suggest flying it
in the quad handle mode instead of with the bar for awhile. You will learn more about what the bottom lines do with the handles. It was my first
quad experience with a SnapShot that later led me to flying Revs & finally into big power Revs. But most of all just get something in the air,
enjoy.
