Big thanks to the SOBB Hosts !

The Folks at SOBB have done it again !

You folks sure know how to make visitors feel welcome !

The thanks need to start with Phil for giving up his yard for us to have buggy camp. Eli, Sean and so many others go out of their way to set things up and feed us all so well . All on nothing but donations, sweat and sacrifice.

It is always fun out riding together but buggy camp is what makes this event so special. It just wouldn't be the same without all your extra effort and the bonding that happens at camp.

Tuesdays onshore winds were exactly what I head to Sunset for ! One of the best days I have had ! I'm only sorry I couldn't stay around for this weekend.

Kite Oregon crew are the BEST !!!! Thanks Guys !

I also want to thank all of the Oregon crew for a fantastic time I had.

Eli and Lacie went above and beyond to provide everything at buggy camp.:thumbup:
A big thank you to kitekiller and sandflea for providing the desert.
I usually don’t eat sweets as I am type 2 diabetic but I just couldn’t resist
I sure am glad I went for the week this time and not the 3 days I usually do.
Even with the rain we had, camping at buggy camp is the best!
The best days I had were the Wednesday and Thursday with straight onshore winds.
I made it twice to the river and once to the shipwreck.
The best day was Thursday though…I had just finished a run to the river and back and noticed Eli staring out at the sky above the ocean.
I asked him what he was looking at and he pointed out a very dark cloud with circulation and a funnel cloud.
I packed up quickly (just in case)
The cloud went directly over top of us with the same funnel cloud and headed east.
The whole day was like that with squall after squall and us flying in between them.
At one point Eli said let’s make a run to the Jetty and I passed but after a few minutes, I decided to try and catch him.
I had him in view but was unable to catch him.
I made it as far as the shipwreck but the jetty was still a few more miles north and a large squall was on its way in so I decided not to wait for him and flew back to camp.
I just stayed in front of it but Eli was directly in it.
A great run to say the least.

All in all...a fantastic time was had.
Thank you all again and hope to see you in the fall.
