Hey everyone,
I've got a Tensor 5.0 and I hate the handles that come with them. They are way to big and cause some pain in my index fingers and blisters on middle
fingers. I was hoping I could get some opinions on what kind quad line handles people like/love and some good US places to buy them.
I've been looking at the Flexifoil Prolink 4, HQ regular handles and the HQ quad ultras.
Thanks for any advice you can give, I'm new to power kiting and I'm having a blast!

My only experience is with standard peter lynn handles and standard hq handles. Both are good. There are retailers on here that will chime in and
help you find what your looking for.

I have the peter lynn handles in stock on my parts page as I am sure most of the other retailers do as well. For the 5m you should choose the long
handles.

Make sure you have a look at PKD handles too - I love them the most I think. They have an adjustable cam cleat on the brake lines which I find
fantastic for a swappable set of handles. You can quickly adjust for each particular kite as they all tend to like their own amount of rear line
tension.

There are several reasons why I prefer to make my own handles. I don’t like the idea of a detachable strop since this reduces its usable length
because of the knot interference with the pulley. So I use one length of rope which gives me the strop and leads and no knots outside the handles. I
make them in the length and shape I like. Having the materials ready, it takes less than half an hour to make a pair. In the distant past I used
aluminum tubing but now I prefer PVC , 7/8” OD (potable tube at the local hardware store). ID is just perfect for a snug knot fit inside. You end up
with handles of length and shape you like, weighing less than 1/2 of those bought and the cost not even worth talking about so you can have enough of
them to match the length of handles and strop to each kite.

I have a few sets of the HQ Ultra Handles.. They are great for not having that power line between your fingers. They also have a very little bit of
flex to them which I personally like.

If you can find them, the Flexifoil Prolink handles are quite nice. The rubber handles are very comfortable. They do love to attract sand though...

Thank you everyone for you input! I decided on the Ozones although I'll keep looking for the Flexifoil Prolinks......man they are hard to find in the
US.

You can make your own handles from PVC pipe, pipe insulation/ foam, and a protective tape wrap(for foam)....... all at a Home Depot near you! Fun
easy project.
Tools: drill and bit, heat source to heat and bend pvc pipe.
