I have a friend that used to buggy and did some great buggy mods - excellent craftsmanship. He started a business a few years ago that has taken over
his free time and he hasn't buggied in 3 years so he sent me a list of things he selling off. I don't have any prices and i can work with him to get a
ballpark or if anyone has an offer I can just pass it along. All gear is located in ontario/Canada. All of the Reactors would be Reactor 1s and all
other models from a number of years ago but he does take really good care of things. I'll try and find out more info but here is an initial list of
offerings - I know one friend was already asking about the bigfoot when I gave him the info earlier today and I don't know what flysurfer model it is

Hi Mark, I might be interested in the 8.3 reactor. I did a search and I can't find much information on the r1. I know everyone seems to like the r2
and the new reactors. Also, how would the rebel's do in inland wind?
Thanks
soliver - 9-6-2014 at 05:41 AM
It's my understanding Sean that the R1 is a lot tamer that's the R2. I've heard Angus say that he would feel comfortable handing an R1 to a beginner,
not so with an R2. Not to say it's not a good kite though, I honestly don't know.
I think when PL went into the 2nd gen of Reactors is when they got popular, but not 100% sure on that.
ssayre - 9-6-2014 at 06:23 AM
soliver, do you know anything about the rebel?
soliver - 9-6-2014 at 06:59 AM
No the Rebel (I think it's actually the Rebble) looks to have been several years before my time... Like circa 2004. This is the first I've actually
heard of it.
I've seen an R1 in person. Frankiter has a few he brings to JIBE, but I haven't flown them. I'm only passing along what I've heard.
burdman111 - 9-6-2014 at 07:27 AM
What's he asking for that 13m Guerrilla? I presume its a guerrilla 1?
BeamerBob - 9-6-2014 at 08:30 AM
The differences between the Reactor and II were noticeable but not a major transformation. I had a range of both and enjoyed each of them. The IIs
do offer a little more speed and performance, but that's not to say you wouldn't enjoy flying the Reactors.
frankiter - 9-6-2014 at 09:43 AM
Spencer, we'll have to swap Reactors for a tower run next JIBE.
markite - 9-6-2014 at 11:29 AM
I have one photo of a lot of bags laid out - I'll find out about the guerrilla whether it's a 1 or 2.
Still need a lot of info from him and I'll update as I get answers.
here are links to some product info pages on the kites at the time they came out:

How about more information on the aluminum freestyle buggy. A picture would be great. Price would be even better.

fwiw if you are looking for a 5m fixed bridle buggy engine, keep looking past that haka unless you want a BEAST!
have seen too many OBE's with it!
Now, if you want a 5m for jumping (which I do not recommend, ever, at all)...it is probably perfect for you!

Details/Pics/Pricing on the buggies would be awesome.

Whats the asking on the blade 5 or 7m?
markite - 9-6-2014 at 10:45 PM
I've sent a few messages to the owner to see if I can prod him into providing more info on everything. I know he's very busy so it might come in small
updates or all,at once. I've asked if he has an idea on pricing as well and have also forwarded the U2U questions along.
I have one photos of some of the buggies - I know one friend was asking him about the bigfoot but haven't heard if it's sold or anything yet.
(Hopefully I can get more info soon before I head away the latter part of the week to a kite fest and get to buggy with the Quebec buggy gang on the
airport runway this weekend.)

having a problem not thinking about the 3m Blade....need a price
does the bigfoot have toe in adjustment or something? looks like the tops of the wheels are leaning in bigtime
bobalooie57 - 10-6-2014 at 01:21 PM
Here's the description for the Bigfoot, which is a beauty, but Disc Brakes??!!! Sacrilege!
"Peter Lynn modified Big Foot with front disc brakes and camber rear wheels axle adapters (removable)"

Tim did a lot of nice machining of parts and I know he used to talk with Popeye quite a bit about buggy building.
I remember talking to him about that front brake and being careful not to flip the buggy and don't recall why he put it on, might have had something
to do about going downwind at the one place he rode. He had an snow buggy (on skis) wired with nice front and rear lights too.
There were a number of U2Us asking prices and I've been copying all the messages to Tim and he responded a short time ago saying he'll try and do some
pricing tonight.

Price ????
erratic winds - 13-6-2014 at 07:55 PM
people who are trying to sell items with no prices aren't trying too hard to sell items.
markite - 13-6-2014 at 08:44 PM
Sorry guys, as posted earlier these are from a friend selling his gear and I know he is busy and I was hoping to pass along prices before I left
earlier this week for a kite festival. I got an email from it saying he was sorry that he didn't get prices Tuesday and I told him not to worry as I
left mid week and won't be back home until this Monday eve. all I know is a local friend had inquired about the ice buggy directly and I think he was
buying it for 600.00
That's all I know until I get back and will chase him some again for prices.
