Very interesting idea but......as a Quadcopter owner I am concerned about this flying basically unmanned. Sure its following the owner, but he is NOT watching it...that's dangerous.

No mention what flight controller is being used- sketchy.

This hobby has stolen me away form flying kites and its gaining HUGE ground every day but I have a feeling its going to get out of control by operators who don't think and will ruin it for the rest of us.

So this would be amazing on my local beach, or any beach for that matter to do some follow behind footage. I can imagine some people will crash them into things and waste their money, but for the right conditions, this is amazing. All at a price cheaper than a DJI Phantom to boot! Not to mention if I had a Phantom, I wouldn't trust any of my friends to film me with it. I wonder what is the maximum wind it can maintain GPS lock is. By the looks of it and knowing how powerful multirotors are getting, I bet it can handle up to 20-25 mph wind.
