Trampa 35* short 15ply deck...weight question

Richie - 14-7-2014 at 12:15 AM

will this board be ok for me its rated upto 238lbs but ima little heavyier at 258lbs

im guessing that if its ok for a 238lb you can be assumed to be doing tricks ect so they could land heavy which will put alot more weight through the board than 258lbs

as im only wanting the board for cruising up and down the beach i should be ok?

i like these boards but very much custom, buying someone else' s board never really came together for me . for cruising should not be an issue.

the longest length, super stiff and channel trucks for heavier rider would be ideal.

The 15ply 35º should be alright for you. Trampa sell extra strips of their material that can be bolted onto the top of the deck to increase stiffness if you find that the deck is to flexable. Called a Flexbridge maybe??

From the TRAMPA website :

The 35° short Mountain Board has been specially developed with advancing teenage riders in mind. Being shorter in overall length, this deck is excellent for big airs, fast rotations & all types of freestyle use.....

Its particularilly well suited on Trampa spring Trucks but also works perfectly on Scrub channel & MBS Matrix if you are looking for an upgrade.
