Advice sought...

Hey guys. First time poster here.

Got my hands on a tasty looking PL Twister 4.1 (4.9m) today and mooched down to a local field hoping for a fly. The result from that was at first a disappointing "not windy enough" which I estimate at around 3mph/2.6knots. Also, it's been a very flat day. Such as the gusts only registered 3mph with little to no wind between. From further reading when I got home, I'm starting to wonder if it was purely human error which prevented me from getting a good fly in. Must be said that in the rare instance I did it the kite up, it would just spin out.

It is much more difficult to fly a kite in no wind than in higher wind conditions. 3mph is basically no wind day. Wait till you have a steady 8-10mph before you try and determine if any kite issues.

If the kite keeps spinning out when you get decent wind then you likely have something wrong with the brake input on that side.

It could be uneven brake lines, accidental input from you or something wrong with the bridle.

Is this your 1st kite? If so it is pretty big and aggressive. Not the best choice for starting out on your own. Be careful with it !
