New to Forum, Other Kiters?

New to the forum here. Been flying for years. Looking for someone to fly with in my area. Any Oklahomans getting out in the heat to fly?

I've had more than a few kites. But never gotten into boarding.
Hard to get enough space to fly. Even more so ride, but I've seen a few kite boarders on the lakes around here. More days than not, I'll pass on watersports. Call me lame, but I'll do my swimming at the 'Y'. lol

For me kiting started with playground made kites as a kid. Grew to backyard experiments, med-large single line foils launching into the clouds. Going to dual line foils *and those flimsy stunt kites*, to larger quad lines and rigging older dual line foils into quads.

Here's some kites I have ready to fly...
Spinning Box, HQ Symphony 1.4,
72in made in China stunt foil, and the
HQ Beamer 5.0

Just South of you North of Dallas (30 miles from the border). There are several Oklahomans out and about. Come down anytime and fly with us. there is a big contingent locally.

Hi, do you have any interests in kite buggy or land boarding? We have a few locals that fly. Here is the link for the Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/groups/1393646397574072/

In a couple weeks when the wind comes back and the temps get nice; I plan on being out at the lake a lot. Until then; if an evening is nice(temp/humidity wise) and there is enough usable wind; I'll be out there.

Buggying would be fun. If I had a spot to use it, I may have tried to put one together by now. Right at 130lbs, I don't need the beefiest buggy. Let me put 3 wheel barrow wheels on a folding lawn chair real quick...lol

Edmond is about an hour north of me. We like to drive up that way for the Warren Theatre. Lake Hefner looks like the spot for kite boarders. When I get up there, I've been seeing several kites over the water the last few years.
