Morning folks. Just bought my first 3m 4 line kite. I've eaten a lot of grass this week so joined here for some tips and advice. I'm in Leeds UK btw

Welcome!!! Learn everything you can about your kite control and keep to lighter winds and VERY gradually, increase your wind range.
Safety gear is important.. You only have one brain and it doesn't grow back so a Helmet should be on your very short list of next purchases...
Enjoy the kite. Take it gradually and welcome to the addiction..

Congrats on your first kite! Stay safe and I suggest getting a hold of some kite killers.
Cheers, Ari

Welcome,
Beginners often want to fly the kite all over the place. Try to learn to use the edges of the wind window. That is how seasoned pilots fly. You only
want to be diving the kite deep into the window when you want a power boost. Avoid the center of the wind window if wind is strong. Avoid flying at
all if the wind is too strong. As above, learn to control the kite and anticipate what is about to happen before it happens. Try and learn to control
the kite without even looking at it.
Work at taking your kite down and then back up the edge of the wind window on your left and right side. Try kite loops and down turns but try them up
high at 1st. Too low and you will get a major power boost.
When you are ready to dive the kite for power and scud get low and get your feet out in front of you. Even to the point of getting you butt on the
ground. Don't use shoes with heals. Wear a helmet at least.
A whole lot of this sport is about setting reflex memory. Take it slow and set those reflexes. It's all about getting hours in on the ropes.
