I've got a gen 2 and almost picked up a gen3 today. I stopped in front of the display for about 40 minutes staring at it and the video. I said.

I second that. The real only appeal for me to upgrade, is the superior recording in low light conditions, and possibly a few of the attachments that

I picked up a Hero 3 White edition a few weeks ago. It works like wonders and I never would see a point in getting the Hero 3 black edition or Hero 3

The new 4 will have a higher frame rate, which is good for slo mo.
Old model by today's standards,
but still serves me just fine.:P
