Anyone here using Flysurfer Pulse? Any feedback would be great! I was thinking of picking up a 13m...

i fly a 10m pulse..... very little words can describe the kite other than awesome!
between the 13m psycho3 and the pulse10m.....i am covered from 9-20 knots no problem. Flysurfer really got it right in 2006.
13m Pulse has more downwind pull than 13m P3, so i went with the p3. I flew a speed13m all last year and got really used to the upwind, i'd
reccommend higher aspect unless you are very new to kiting.

I'm a land guy - I would be using this in a buggy, dirtsurfer or mountainboard or maybe for snow (if we ever get any).
Thanks for the info!

I'm still not sure if I want to go the depower route. :puzzled:
Fixed bridle foils are just so nice and simple. However, the depowerables have a much greater wind range.
Oh…all the choices.
depower FS

i've found fixed bridles to be more on-off feeling and less windrange of actual fun. going from nicely powered to dangerously overpowered within afew
mph increase.
the depower of pulse and p3 are so amazing..... they feel like 2 kites each.... 8:1 power effect.
also in gusty cond, that much depower is very helpful. i mountainboard with the trimmer halfway in and the bar halfway sheeted so when a gust hits it
just pulls the bar away a little to spill the power. i have yet to be yarded off my stance with a gust riding this way.
also the safety i've found to be very effective. one day the wind began to double. from 15mph to 30mph gusts..... i weigh 150 lbs so at the gusts i
would float up and hover or drift way downwind. when it was enough for me i just pulled the safety, kite collapsed and came down. very safe and
confident feeling.

I only had one depower so far (9.5m Montana) and I really didn't like it that much. Maybe I need to try a depower again

Flysurfer and HQ are in-comparable......like Porsche and Kia...... two different classes. even Ozone and HQ..... get the real thing, no wonder you
didn't like the "depower" try a real kite then you'll see.

Yeah - I guess comparing a $500 kite to a $1400 kite is a stretch. Damn - any kite over a grand just seems crazy...

How about a 26m foil - this thing is huge!

I find the Flysurfer stuff and Ozone in North America Marjor over priced. If you are in to buggies I wouldn't get a FS. I find they start to drag and
collapse at high speeds with a buggy and I over run them all the time.
Just my thought. Boarding, surf, sure but could get two or more kites for the same price.

Thanks for the info Wolfee. They are expensive, but I'm hooked on FSers now.
I've heard great things about Flysurfer Speeds in the buggy - it's a quite fast depowerable...
