Let' do an enduro or relay race or one of each!

We should have some sit downs and discuss racing rules and how to do it. Anyone coming have racing experience to share?

I have enough trouble simply staying in the buggy and getting back to where I started.

.... maybe we can start with some "buggy race clinic" if someone have serious experience with it ..... . I am still working on keeping my race kites in air ..... lol ...

I wanna do a little freestyle competition- as you might remember from last fall i blew past all the buggies on my mtn board:D:P but i am up for a race as well even if it is a four corners race (what i call it when i ride by myself) pick an area and see how quickly you can go around all four corners so that it involves having to go straightt downwind or upwind and seeing how much or little you have to tack

Just get in a car and get your arse up here.....the whole weekend with gas, food and room mate is a couple hundred and 10 years from now you won't even remember or care about the cash..what you will remember is the great time you had...

I think 2 races would be appropriate. An early bird enduro on Thursday, a team relay on Saturday, an through in a night fly on Friday night for good measure.

How 'bout a slalom course where skill AND speed is used...?

We would need cones or other markers...

I think that would be covered under a circuit race. But if the wind is up an down the beach mogul or solemn is very doable. I remember one year with all of the sand dunes it was a lot of fun doing the off road thing.

We would need plenty of cones for that.

Time to start gathering equipment for the races. Does anyone have ant large cones for turn markers?

Howard do you still have all those small cones?

So far suggestions have been for a slalom course, team relay, enduro, and circuit. Any other suggestions?
Will need a couple of volunteers to help out as well.

CT has a lot of construction going on. I may be able a snag a few cones as I drive down the highway!! Any one else?
I also have a comfy chair to sit in and watch all you crazy fools!!

These two weeks a year I'm at WBB is my wife's vacation from me. I am kind of a hand full some times. This year she got an extra week while I was at SOBB!

So for races I think we will try for a small circuit on Friday and a team relay on Saturday. We still need large cones, flags, or banners and a couple of volenteers
