So I'm about to get this M5 sent off to Powerzone, but I realize I need a leash... Anybody have one they'll part with for cheapo?indigo_wolf - 30-9-2014 at 04:09 PM
Errr.... um.... veja-du? or are you just trying to gaslight/confuzzle me?
Not sure you are going to get much cheaper than $29 if you are still looking for a short leash for use with the buggy.

Oh yeah,... Since I haven't gotten the kite fixed yet, I still haven't gotten a leash... And I can't seem to find anyone who carries that shorty
leash, so I thought I'd ask if anyone had one they'd give up for cheap... Plus I see the disadvantages of the shorter leash... Found a used Cabrina on
Amazon for $25 + $5 shipping... That's an option... Just putting my feelers out.

Or you could make one. It's just rope and a shackle all of which can be acquired at a marine store. rtz - 30-9-2014 at 07:50 PM

I was thinking of doing that and using my wichard QR as a safety... So that's kosher?rtz - 30-9-2014 at 09:26 PM
Depending on the kite and how much it yanks when it's released to the leash is what I'd be concerned about. With the LEI kites, there is quite a bit
of yank even with a long bungee leash.ssayre - 1-10-2014 at 04:27 AM
I had a decent amount of yank with the arc, but I'm not sure the bungee causes the yank to some degree. The length of the leash causes some momentum
that maybe a short leash would not have. It would be interesting to experiment a little.powerzone - 1-10-2014 at 08:35 AM
