I am bringing the whole shootin' match to WWBB on Saturday for sale. Asking $900 for all (and not very willing to bargain)
I won't consider breaking it all up or shipping anything - so don't bother asking (unless you want to make some >really< outrageous offer for a
single item). You can have someone pick it all up for you at WW if you can't make it. If you only want a few things, pitch in with some others (or
list what you want below, and see if anyone will take the rest here), or sell the unwanted stuff off after you buy it all from me.
--------------------------------------------------
>>Ride(s)
- earlier PL Bigfoot Buggy: fine shape (with a 2nd full set of brand new, bagged, standard size tires, tubes as a BONUS), & PL tow strap. (One
rear bolt has a slight bend, and scraped some of the rim, so I put some spacers on and it runs fine now - just never got around to buying a spare
bolt). These tires WILL get you across about ANY sand condition you will encounter, so you won't have to sit any out. And you can just pop on the
standard tires for stunts and grass riding.
- Decent, newish, largly wood composite mountain board - (forgot the make - MBS? - works great and has literally only a few hours on it, tops)
>> kites
All original, classic
(and SMOOTH) FIRST GENERATION arcs
- Phantom 18: Gentle giant - loads and loads of fun - a crowd pleaser that looks GREAT up in the sky- flies great - some stains and maybe sand - and a
*special,* AUTOGRAPHED dedication inside the bottom zip from you-know-who! w bag, sticks
- Synergy 15 (blue)- flies nice - professionally repaired, tested and approved by none less than Phreerider! I chose this over my Phanny 15 figuring
I'd go out on the water someday...w bag and sticks
- Phantom 12: Wow...my first arc, and sentimental favorite. The COOLEST LOOKING ARC - EVER! I love the orange and black color scheme -perfect for
October!-I had the ride (and memories) of a lifetime in FL one afternoon with AJ using this! In decent shape, with bag and fiberglass rods
- Phantom 9: OK, now listen carefully, because this is SUPER special. This was a PL PROTOTYPE once owned by the late AJ. It's is a simply red and
white striped kite and looks like it's been rode, for sure, but it has been professionally repaired. And let me tell you, I don't know how it compares
to the production Phanny 9s, but this SPECIAL kite is JUST PERFECT for those windy WW days. It has an incredible wind range, turns fast and flies
BEAUTIFULLY. It's pretty much all I would take out most of the time anywhere I go. It has such great range and control, I even sold my super rare, UK
imported Phanny 6 and broke up this Phanny set - figuring I'm not nuts enough to go out in those kind of winds anyway. This proto 9 could handle the
gusts just as well - yet can still sine and turn fast enough to get you moving in much lower winds! No bag, fiberglass rods. I can't help but think
owners of the standard, production Phanny 9s may have really missed out on something special here! (Hey, did I already mention this is SPECIAL?)
- BONUS!!! Flexifoil Blurr 3.5 - green, nice, with the nice Flexi bag, handles and lines. This is deceptively gentle to launch and maneuver, which is
great for starting in the higher wind ranges it's made for...but just get moving and let it pass thru the window and you will see just how FAST and
POWERFUL it can be! HOooooLD OOOONnnnnN!
>>>Gear
My beloved PL '07 bar: The ONLY bar I ever considered using. In fine shape - modified with a special mickey mouse ears swivel so you can untangle
those knotty top power lines in a jiff. I'm including a brand spanking new full set of SPARE PL LINES for it too. You can't go wrong with this!
Ozone belt strap harness - the D loop kind - I hook a huge Cabiner into it
A simple PL stroop roller bar
Also may still have an old, standard, water harness to throw in too (it's a little small for me).
Also, some assorted helmets (fat heads only! :-) ), and "L" sized armor jacket, used padding, etc...maybe some other stuff if I can dig it up.
--------------------------------------------------------
So, there you have it - a TOTAL, TURNKEY, SMOOooooTH riding set-up for ANY wind, surf and sand (and grass) condition you will find yourself in. And
yet, I can load and haul EVERYTHING HERE between the trunk and back seat of my compact car to take it anywhere I go. I spent a few YEARS putting all
this together so I could virtually TAKE THIS ANYWHERE & FLY IN ANY CONDITIONS! I hope you will have as much fun with it all as I had.

Wow.. Phantom 12.. and in orange in black... wow...
and a phantom 9 to match.
This is a sweet ride setup for anyone wanting to buggy. I'm floored. No way to be at WWBB though . . .

Definitely a long shot, but I'd love that 12m Phanny.. If anyone wants to buy it all and just so happens wants to sell that one to me. Or I'll pitch
in or however else this could possibly work hahaha.
Actually, might as well.. that offer stands for any one of the Phantoms..

I sadly realize I just don't have the time or energy to go out as much anymore, I've moved 4 times in the last couple years, and I'm just lugging and
storing all this gear around without ever using it. (That, plus I have some hellacious taxes to soon pay!)
I won't be bothering with pix or many questions here at all, because anyone who knows me - or seen my stuff - knows this is the real deal. I
assembled an IDEA, hassle-free, smooth set up for a beginner or experienced rider. And all my arcs fly beautifully off of my one, special, reliable,
customized '07 bar I'm throwing in.
I'm going to ponder over all the private msg offers, to see what's going to be the least hassle for everyone.
I prob could'a asked for $1,200 - but I didn't want to bargain or quibble.
***** (BUT IF anyone wants all this bad enough to offer me MORE than $900, they'll have a surer chance of
getting it, and with me more willing to accomodate them! Believe me, this is WORTH IT!)
I live above Baltimore MD. and work in the city - I'll check back with everyone after work tonight.
BeamerBob - 9-10-2014 at 09:41 AM
Someone with access just needs to say "Yes, I'll take it." And then get lad some cash. You could part this stuff out for considerably more than
$1500. Buy the package and keep the one kite you want for free.
flyguy0101 - 9-10-2014 at 09:51 AM
@BB- great minds think alike- this is a great deal!
mainekite2 - 9-10-2014 at 10:10 AM
Already did
ssayre - 9-10-2014 at 10:12 AM
congrats mainekite, I hope it works out. That's a pretty exciting set up for a little bit o money
shehatesmyhobbies - 9-10-2014 at 10:23 AM
The fact that the AJ proto kite is in there is awesome all by itself. I remember sending that kite out for the repairs. AJ flew that thing to the moon
and back it seems.
Craig, you snagged a great deal hear brother!
mainekite2 - 9-10-2014 at 07:06 PM
Lad send me your info or give me a call
mainekite2 - 10-10-2014 at 03:43 AM
Thanks Lad.
I may have some things for sale at WW, could have to rearrange the quiver. just dont know yet, hit me up if there is something you are dying to have
bobalooie57 - 10-10-2014 at 08:29 AM
Killer deal, Lad. At that price, you could say the kites are basically free!
Nfish - 10-10-2014 at 09:41 AM
Can't believe I just missed this...well, I won't be at WW, so the shipping probably would kill the deal anyway.
mainekite2, if you don't need that PL 07 bar, I'd love to take that (if it's at least 55cm).
