Short discussion on this a while back. Haven't heard of anybody actually using one. The GoPro forum may be your best chance of finding additional info.

I got plenty of info. I was just sharing. Thinking on getting one. Bad side is ,it won't be waterproof anymore,or a helmetcam. I bet if you put it on a Celestron telescope,in 4K resolution .... ASTROPHOTOGRAPHY in awesome detail.:alien::alien::alien::borg:

I've got all the equipment if you'd like to try it.. 16" Newtonian (Dobsonian mount) as well as refractors and mounts to provide tracking..

I prefer T-Ring with a Digital SLR in prime focus so the telescope does all of the lens work.. I'm not particularly fond of digiscoping..
