I have in my possession ,two delta sleds that I bought to take baits off the beach. In fact, searching the net for these kites is how I ended up
hooked on wind. I saw a video of a dude and a buggy ,and that was it! Love at first sight. They have about a 6 ft. wingspan. They have a dual bridle
that keeps it steady in place and a ring on the connecting line that you position to one side or other to make it tack accordingly.

Okay, for those of us that are uninformed.... how do you use a kite for fishing or taking bait off the beach...?WELDNGOD - 23-10-2014 at 03:21 PM
You put a quick release on a line coming off the kite (not the one it's flying on). Put swivel (with fishing line through one end) in QR. Let both
kite and fishing line out. Keeping the bait(live fish) on top of the water. When Mr Cobia or King Mackeral hit,QR lets go and it's FISH ON!!!indigo_wolf - 23-10-2014 at 04:15 PM
Can't help with the fishing, but if you U2U me an email, I can send you a tri-fold on KAP with a really good overview, sampling of kinds, and a slew
of resources to get started.

Thanks Sam, but I'm satisfied with Donnies explanation. I don't have patience for fishing... WELDNGOD - 23-10-2014 at 07:13 PM
fishing = drinking alcohol while floating on water with a stick in your hand.flyhighWNY - 23-10-2014 at 07:20 PM
Sounds like me in the bathtub! WELDNGOD - 23-10-2014 at 07:30 PM
Curious; Do you use your kite to get around in the water. That's a nice looking setup.WELDNGOD - 26-10-2014 at 06:05 AM
I got a bad a$$ paddle for that. Any side pull would turtle ya with the quickness. The wife and I are big on saltwater fishing,so we HAD to have a
pair of Malibu X-Factors. Then I spent the winter rigging them for fishing. Right down to a Lowrance HDI sonar unit. I wish I had got them long ago.
Where in NC are you? I'm in Chesapeake VA.
