When do the 2015 model snow kites come out? Is there anything new for 2015?

Ozone and Gin have already announced their new lineups both of which have been posted on this forum or you can go to their home pages. I don't recall seeing anything from HQ or FS yet.

Peter lynns new Leopard is on the horizon sometime. HQ's Matrixx2 higher aspect closed has debuted but not yet on shelves. Ozone revamped Access, frenzy and Summit just came online earlier this month....speaking of which, the new safety looks pretty interesting. Flysurfer has just removed the psycho's and standard cloth speeds making me curious if they will have something else in the pipeline. Flexifoil is gearing up for a new landkiting line....don't know if anything is in the works as far as a snowkite though. That's all I'm aware of.

In the lines we carry...

Ozone has been released. The new Frenzy looks sick and like MeatDriver said the new safety system for the Frenzy, Summit and Access is pretty dang sweet IMO. It adds a new level of safety but also shortens set up and pack up times to near "Peak" ease. They've also added a 9m size to the Chrono series which I suspect is going to be a rocket. We've been playing with the 15m Demo and so far, very impressed.

HQ has a released the new Matrixx 2 (drool) but it won't be available for a bit. They've added a few sizes one 7m and one 18m!!! All Matrixx 2's come in 20d material so they shaved a ton of weight. We always liked the Matrixx 1 and found the 15m to be actually respectable in light winds for it's size and a kite made of standard fabric. Many have said they need to make an 18m to compete with the likes of Flysurfer and this year they did and made it out of better materials. Pretty exciting. The 7m is about $300 more than the Montana VIII 8m which is short $$$ IMO for the added performance and the ability to take it on the water. There is a new version of the Apex due out after January but I haven't heard much detail about changes in that series yet.

Flysurfer is doing their official release on Nov. 1st. There are some interesting things in the works and we're pretty excited. They are paring down the line up a bit and adding some things as well. Recently they have added the Speed 4 in Lotus material in the smaller sizes.

There is a new Lynx due out from Peter Lynn. The Leopard is still in the works but I have not received an ETA as of yet.

We have the current HQ matrixx 2 offerings listed on our website, hardwaterkiter.com. :-) We haven't got the AR and other tech info yet but will add that information as we receive it.

Just got word there's a delay on the 2015 HQ Apex and it won't be released until summer. So the Apex IV is remaining as the current inline product until 2016.

Looks like our prices on our used Apex IV's in the used section just went up!:D

Nahhhhhhhhhhhhh, just kidding.

Just got the tech specs on the Matrixx 2.

Based on what they sent ( the AR, cell count and area) it looks to be very much like the Flysurfer Psycho 4. We really like the Psycho 4, kinda bummed they dumped it but they had their reasons, and we liked the Matrixx 1 so I for one am excited to try out the 18m Matrixx 2. I bet it's an awesome wing. :D
