Those of you that have tried the peak how far is the stretch to the bar and the brake?
I have a ccouple of HQ Apex kites that I fly pritty much with one handed because I can't reach the bar with both hands. I also had to move the bake
so I could get to it. Any suggestions on how to fix my problem?

I've got a new Peak 6m. I'm not a big guy, 5'8" and haven't got long arms. With the bar pushed all of the way out against the stopper it's still not
even at arms length. If I need to grab the centre lines to tug them to tease the kite up in light wind I can easily reach past the bar and grab the
lines.
Regarding the brake do you mean the line connecting the 2 back lines? Because the Peak doesn't have one of those. Each back line has a ball on it
that you use to pull the line if, say you wanted to back stall the kite to the ground. But you have to use both hands, one on each line.
I was toying with the idea of adding a brake to make it easier to stake the kite down when not in the air, but I haven't bothered yet. I've never
owned a kite that has this type of brake so I'm not missing it
I was looking at the Apex before someone suggested the Peak, and the long throw was one thing that put me off it and I started looking at the Access
instead. But obviously went for the Peak and I'm very happy with it!

Peak bar throw is very short. The Access is pretty short as well compared to the Apex.
Peak doesn't have a cross over brake handle although it's a simple enough thing to add if you feel you really need the rear lines connected to each
other.
You can retro fit a shorter chicken loop to the Apex to bring the bar assembly in closer. You can also add extensions to the trim strap if reaching
that is an issue.

FrontRangeJeff posted this a little while back,

Makes a smaller chicken loop so a better reach for the bar. Might work with your Apex's but not sure for the FS
